The Inspiration: Turbulence is one of the most unpredictable of all the weather phenomena that pilots have to be concerned with. Turbulence is an irregular motion of the air resulting from eddies and vertical currents along the flight path. It may be as insignificant as a few annoying bumps or severe enough to momentarily throw an airplane out of control. Some turbulence can even cause structural damage to the aircraft. Turbulence is associated with fronts, wind shear, thunderstorms, and other mysterious aerial phenomena.
But what about the turbulence we experience in our everyday lives? The missed alarm clock in the morning. The spilt coffee at our desk. The burnt lasagna we forgot to take out of the oven. Or that cutie we were so awkward with at the gym. These little irregular occurrences definitely disturb us, it's how we handle these moments of unpredictability, that makes us the great pilots of our lives.
The Scene: The next set is going to be an absolute banger. But you have a feeling that things in the crowd are about to get out of control. Now this is not *all* bad. After all, you are at this epic event for a reason. You just didn't think that reason would be high speed aerial maneuvers to get through this crowd and toward the stage for the final headline.
You carefully guide your people through the convulsing masses that push and pull at your squad's connectivity.
You are going to make it through this one... captain.
