The Inspiration: Toodles Galore is a fictional feline character in the Tom and Jerry series. She is white coloured cat that usually wears a neck ribbon and is known to be a very beautiful to her male counterparts. Her first appearance was in a 1946 animated short "Springtime for Thomas".
Toodles is first of many female cats that Tom falls for, over the course of the series, and is the most recurring of all of Tom's love interests. She does not speak and rarely moves about. Toodles is also the love interest of Butch, and sometimes he and Tom fight for her affections.
